more it seems to decrease though. Driving at least 160 km. each day sort
of takes the sting of it.

An older Mercedes (1987). After a Mileage of about 800.000 km., the engine would no more and I sold the car at an auction. I kind of liked to make it a sport to see for how long it would run. This picture on the left has been taken around 9 years ago right after I bought it. | |

To the opposite of the old Mercedes, I bought this Mazda 323 brand new in '91 - well the mileage counter indicated 5 km. Now my wife drives it with a mileage of 300.000 kilometers on the same engine. Well actually most of the parts are from the time it left the factory. Quite amazing, Japanese people. | |

Almost just
after I got my drivers license, I rushed out to buy this old Ford Taunus
1,6 '79. I still wonder how a car actually can drink that much oil. It
simply flushed right through the system. Well... had it for three or
four years and had much fun with it.
RIP on the junk yard. |
